ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Director on the State of Washington Department of Ecology Amendment 1. (Effective dates:
07.01.2022-06.30.2023)
BACKGROUND:
The agreement between the Department of Ecology State of Washington and KCPHD. The
Department of Ecology will task KCPHD with solid waste handling/facility/site compliance and
solid waste investigation, assistance, enforcement, as well as offering technical assistance.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on December 27, 2022
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on December 30, 2022
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Director on the State of Washington Department of Ecology Amendment 1. (Effective dates:
07.01.2022-06.30.2023)
