JANUARY 3, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Ben Kokjer, Chief Deputy; <br />David Ohl, Airport Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Bryan <br />Elliott, Auditor; Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance <br />Director/Project Manager; and 8 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />NOMINATIONS FOR 2023 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to nominate and appoint Commissioner Wright <br />to serve as the 2023 Chairman of the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright moved to nominate and appoint Commissioner Wachsmith to <br />serve as the 2023 Vice-Chairman of the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />The newly elected Auditor Bryan Elliott was introduced and welcomed to <br />Kittitas County. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS – NONE <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS - NONE <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve the Agenda, as amended, by <br />moving Consent Item L to Board Discussion & Decision. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
