Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />1/3/2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards signatures on the agreement to rescind the purchase and sales agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste entered into a Purchase and Sales agreement with Triple L LLC for a portion of <br />land to allow for the new access road to provide a buffer around a wetland. After further discussions with <br />the City of Ellensburg and the neighboring land owner Triple L LLC. it was determined that an easement <br />would be a better option. <br /> <br />By rescinding the purchase and sales agreement Amerititle will be able to release the earnest money from <br />the purchase and sales agreement. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Amerititle, Triple L LLC, and the Prosecutors office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Bards signature on the agreement to rescind the purchase and sales agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return a signed copy <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
