ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the Federal Financial Assistance
Grant Award Subrecipient Agreement between WA State Parks and Recreation
Commission and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has worked with the Washington
State Parks and Recreation Commission for many years. The Boating Safety Program
funds are available to assist the Sheriff’s Office with local marine law enforcement
efforts to reduce the number and severity of recreational boating casualties of all types
and ensure a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all users.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved this Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the Federal Financial Assistance
Grant Award Subrecipient Agreement between WA State Parks and Recreation
Commission and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
