BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTToN No. 2022 - p q tl <br />DISBANDING OF THE FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declared all boards <br />and committees operating under the direction of the Board of County <br />Commissioners subject to open public meeting act requirements in Resolution <br />2017-T53; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners directed staff solicit Flood <br />Control Zone District rate payers for participation in an advisory committee <br />supporting ongoing prioritization of Flood Control Zone District annual capital <br />facility planning and work program elements; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners formulated the Flood <br />Control Zone District Advisory Committee in201l by Resolution2}lT-L83; and <br />WHEREAS: The Flood Control Zone District Advisory Committee has developed capital <br />facility evaluation criteria and defined operational parameters for annual work <br />program development; and <br />WHEREAS: The Flood Control Zone District will continue to follow public process for <br />budgeting and public noticing of capital facility planning. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby disband the Flood Control Zone District Advisory <br />Committee. <br />DATED this 20th day of December 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />.\\\\\\ !
