BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.: 2022-____ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ELLENSBURG RELATED TO <br />DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS WITHIN THE URBAN GROWTH AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg entered into an Interlocal <br />Agreement on December 20, 2021, related to development standards within <br />the Ellensburg Urban Growth Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: that agreement provided a deadline of December 31, 2022, for the County to <br />meet certain requirements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the County and City desire to extend that implementation deadline (related to <br />sections 5.1, 6.1, 10.2, and 13.1 of the agreement) until June 30, 2023; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the County and City drafted an amendment to the agreement, a copy of which <br />is attached to this resolution and incorporated herein by this reference, that <br />would accomplish that extension. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby authorizes the execution of the attached amendment to the interlocal agreement with <br />the City of Ellensburg related to development standards within the Ellensburg urban growth <br />area. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2022 at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Julie A.
