Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 20, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing for January 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm for the Board of <br />County Commissioners to consider the Suncadia Ph 2 Div 8 Preliminary Plat <br />(LP-22-00005). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for New Suncadia, LLC, landowner, submitted <br />an application for a 72 detached residential lot (primarily second or vacation <br />homes) plat with associated roadways, a clubhouse and pool amenity, as well as <br />an open space and service tracts on approximately 290.3 acres of land that is <br />zoned Master Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 8,400 to <br />38,000 square feet. In conjunction with this preliminary plat application, a site <br />development plan was submitted for Suncadia Phase 2 Division 8. <br /> <br />In conformance with the Seventh Amendment to the Suncadia Development <br />Agreement, Kittitas County Community Development Staff requests that the <br />Board of County Commissioners set a public hearing for January 3, 2022 at 2:00 <br />pm to hear public testimony and consider the Suncadia Ph 2 Div 8 Preliminary <br />Plat. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services and Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve request to set a public hearing for January 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm for BOCC <br />consideration of the Suncadia Phase 2 Division 8 Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ad Text and Web Text <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Kelly Bacon, Staff Planner
