BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUrroNNo. 2022 - m\o <br />SELECTING TRANTECH ENGINEERING AND HLA ENGINEERING AND LAIID <br />SURVEYING AS PUBLIC WORKS ON-CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP <br />TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY <br />ENGINEER SIGNATURE ON SAID CONTRACTS <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works (PW) prepared a solicitation for engineering and <br />professional services consistent with state law and county code in September 2022; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: PW docketed a request to solicit for engineering and professional services on the <br />Board of County Commission general business agenda on September 6,2022; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did direct PW proceed with solicitation efforts <br />and said process concluded with submittals being received on October 14,2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of PW reviewed and <br />scored all construction management submittals; and <br />WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects TranTech Engineering and HLA Engineering <br />and Land Surveying for professional services contracts for up to a three-year period <br />(two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby select TranTech Engineering and HLA Engineering and Land <br />Surveying for standard professional services contracts (acceptable to the Prosecuting Attomey's <br />Office); <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the County Engineer is directed to sign said contracts on behalf of <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this 6th day of December 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />ABSENT <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />I <br />Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, V <br />Commissioner
