BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLTNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON No. 2022 -]h\ <br />SELECTING TRANTECH ENGINEERING AND DCI ENGINEERS AS PUBLIC <br />WORKS ON.CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO A THREE-YEAR <br />PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZETHE COUNTY ENGINEER SIGNATURE <br />ON SAID CONTRACTS <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works (PW) prepared a solicitation for engineering and <br />professional services consistent with state law and county code in September <br />2022; and <br />WHEREAS: PW docketed a request to solicit for engineering and professional services on the <br />Board of County Commission general business agenda on September 6,2022; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did direct PW proceed with solicitation <br />efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on October 14, <br />2022;and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of PW reviewed <br />and scored all structural engineering submittals; and <br />WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects TranTech Engineering and DCI Engineers <br />for professional services contracts for up to a three-year period (two-year base <br />with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby select TranTech Engineering and DCI Engineers for <br />standard professional services contracts (acceptable to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office); <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the County Engineer is directed to sign said contracts on <br />behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />DATED this 6th day of December 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />S , WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />ABSENT <br />- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Cory Wright, V <br />ffiutyClerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />''L{)^f,,f6,t" LAtl2,tu I achsmith,Commissioner
