RESOLUTTON No. 2022 - ?71,
SELECTING KPG PSOMAS AND EXELTECH CONSULTING,INC. AS CIVI
ENGINEERING PUBLIC WORKS ON.CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO
A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE Ai\D AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ENGINEER
TO SIGN SAID CONTRACTS
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works (PW) prepared a solicitation for engineering and
professional services consistent with state law and county code in September 2022;
and
WHEREAS: PW docketed a request to solicit for engineering and professional services on the
Board of County Commission general business agenda on Septemb er 6,2022; and
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did direct PW proceed with solicitation efforts
and said process concluded with submittals being received on October 14,2022; and
WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of PW reviewed and
scored all professional civil engineering services submittals; and
WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects KPG Psomas and Exeltech Consulting,Inc.
for professional civil engineering services contracts for up to a three-year period
(two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon);
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby select KPG Psomas and Exeltech Consulting, Inc. for professional
civil engineering services (acceptable to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office);
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the County Engineer is directed to sign said contracts on behalf of
the Board of County Commissioners.
