A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Selah School District No. 119, yakima andKittitas Counties, Washington, certifying to the Boards of Yakima and Kittitas County
Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent ofESD 105, the amount of excess property taxes to be leviel in year 2022 and collected inyear 2023 for the District's General Fund and Debt Service Fund; and providing for related
matters.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SELAH SCHOOLDlsrRlcT No. 119, YAKTMA AND KtrrlrAs couNTtES, WASHINGToN, as foilows:
Section 1 . Findinss and Peterminations. The Board of Directors (the"Board") of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and Xittitas Counties, Washington (tne"District") takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings ind
determinations:
(a) By Resolution No. 18-22, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal year 2022-
23 (the "2a22-23 Budget") that included certified General Fund Reptacement Educational
Programs and operation Levy excess property taxes in the amount of $3,g0s,20s to be
levied in 2022 and collectedin 2023.
(b) The 2022'23 Budget included certified Debt Service Fund excess proper{y
taxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstanding unlimited tax general
obligation bonds in the amount of $4,600,000 to be levied in ZA*Z and collecteO in ZOzS.

Section 4 GeneralAuthorization and Ratification. The Secretary to the Board,
the President of the Board, the District's Associate Superintendent for Distiict Operations
and other appropriate officers of the District are severally authorized to take all other
actions and execute all other documents necessary to effectuate the provisions of this
resolution, and all prior actions taken in furtherance of and not inconsistent with the
provisions of this resolution are ratified and confirmed in all respects.
Section 5 Effective Date. This resolution takes effect from and after its
adoption.
ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and
Kittitas Counties, Washington, at a regular open public meeting thereof, of which due
notice was given as required by law, held this 1Oth day of November,2A22, the following
Directors being present and voting in favor of the resolution.

RESOLUTION to Approve 2023 Budget
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District #1 has
had multiple, open public meetings and discussed the proposed 2023 budget in detail.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District #1 has
deemed the expenditures on the proposed 2023 budget necessary.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District #1 has
agreed on the potential income for the district including property taxes, sale of burn
permits, etc.
NOW TI{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
Kittitas County Fire District #1 hereby approves the 2023 Budget with the operating
budget of $398,723 andtotal expenditures possible of $658,108.

Certifying Property Tax Levy
Beginning January l, 2023
WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Assessor has notified the Commissioners of Kittitas
County Fire District No. 2 of the assessed valuation of property lying within the boundaries of said
district for the year 2023 is estimated at$5,204,781,762 and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 has
met and considered its budget for the calendar year 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 had
properly given notice of the public hearing held November 10, 2022 to consider the District's
revenue sources and current expense budget for the 2023 calendar year, pursuant to RCW
84.55.120, and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 2022, the voters of Kittitas County Fire District No. 2
authorized a levy lid rate increase to $1.50 per $1000 ofassessed value, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Kittitas County
Fire District No. 2 as follows:
1. That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and the Kittitas County Assessor, be and is
hereby requested to make a regular property tax levy for 2022, to be collected in 2023 for
Kittitas County Fire District No. 2 in the amount of $8,000,000.00, plus new construction and
any increase in state-assessed property.

INTENT TO IMPOSE FIRE BENEFIT CHARGB
Background: WI-lllREAS, the District is Authorized by chapter 52.18 RCW t9establish. impose and collect a benefit charge on p*rronul property and improvements toreal property located within the District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has determined that the regular real property
tax levy income will not be sulficient to cover the cost of the operations of the bistrict
needed to maintain a satisfastory levet clf District services; zurcl
WHEREAS, the benefit charge authorized by the statute may provide an amount not toexceed 60% of the operatiein budget of the District; and
WIIEREAS, the District's Operation budget for 2A23 will be approximately $ I ,e7g,g46;and
WI-IEREAS, the properties listed in Exhibit A. to be attached to this Resoluti'n arereceiving and will reeeive the service benefits provided by the District; and
WHEREAS' it is reasonable and necessary that the District irnpose a benefit charge tomaintain and improve services pnrvided by the District;
Resolution: Now 1'I-IEREF0RE, BE I'r RESOLVED by the Board of ctommissioners
of Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue as fbllows:
l ' Benefit Charge. There is hereby imposed within the District a henegt charge onpersonal property and improvements to real property to be collected in 2022 in thetotal amount of $290,400.00 to be paicl by the o*n*r* of such properties.
2' Effective Date. The benefit charge shall be imposed on the aflbcted propefiy
beginning January l, 2A23.
3. Method of Apportionment. T'he total benefit charge authorizecl by this
resolution shail.be reasonably apportioned among the affbcted purr"l, of property
by the merhod describecl in Exhibit B.
4' Property Charge. 'l'he benefit charge to be imposed on each property is set forth
on Exhibit A, to be attached to this resolution und i,tcorporateei heieinby this
refbrence.
5. Contract for Administration. The Fire Chief is authorized and directeel to
negotiate a contract with the treasurers of King and Kittitas Counties to provicle
administration and collection of the benefit charge. The contract shall establish
the fee to be paid by the District to the County Tr.urur.. and County Assessgr fbr
seryices to be perfornied under the contract.
6' Public Hearing. The Secretary of the District was authorized and directed o
schedule a public hearing befure the Board of Clommissioners that was held on
November gth 2a22 at the District Headquarters station to consider the proposal tgimpose benefit charges for the support oithe legally authorized activities of theDistrict to maintain and irnprove the services afloried in the District. The
secretary posted a public meeting notice of the hearing at all fire clistrict stationswithin the district.
