ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Boards signature on the Professional Service Agreement with SCS Engineers.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste has been working on relocating the Ellensburg Transfer Station for the past 6
years. In 2021 phase 1 of the transfer station relocation project was completed which included installing all
of the underground utilities and access road.
We are now ready to start Phase 2 of the project which will include the design of the onsite facilities.
On October 18, 2022 we received 3 proposals for the design of the facilities. On November 10, 2022
interviews were held and with the requirement of the project it was determined that SCS Engineers would be
the best fit for this project.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Boards approval and signatures on the professional service agreement with SCS Engineers.
