KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 6, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge Quote and intent to contract with <br />AXON Enterprise, Inc for 11 Vehicle-Based Video Evidence Systems for the Kittitas <br />County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This will be a 60-month contract, estimated to begin July 1, 2023, for <br />vehicle-based video evidence systems which will work in concert with our body cameras <br />from the same company. We also have existing contracts with AXON for 14 vehicle- <br />based video evidence systems (fleet cameras), and tasers. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: AXON is an approved vendor under NASPO Public Safety Video <br />Systems Contract #06316. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge Quote and intent to contract with AXON <br />Enterprise, Inc for 11 Vehicle-Based Video Evidence Systems for the Kittitas County <br />Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No Handling. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
