ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's
Error on Resolution 2021-080 Setting 2021 Kittitas County
Department of Public Works Permit Fees
BACKGROUND: In 2021, under Resolution 2021-080, the Board of County
Commissioners updated Public Works permit fees to reflect
cost recovery on staff time processing permits. During this
process a "Road Standard Variance Appeal" fee was
inappropriately labeled, and Public Works is requesting to
correct said scrivener's error to "Administrative Variance
Appeal" fee as originally intended. This fee is set at
$1,580.00. No other updates are being requested at this
time.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's Error on
Resolution 2021-080 Setting 2021 Kittitas County
Department of Public Works Permit Fees
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR ON RESOLUTION 2021-080 SETTING 2021
KITTITAS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS PERMIT FEES
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution 2021-080 set the 2021 Department of Public Works
Permit Fees; and
WHEREAS: After Resolution 2021-080 was approved an error was discovered in said listing
of permit fees; and
WHEREAS: This Resolution is intended to correct the scrivener's error in Resolution 2021-80
to reflect the correct naming convention for Administrative Variance Appeal Fee;
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby approve this Resolution correcting the scrivener's error in
Resolution 2021-080 setting the 2021 Kittitas County Department of Public Works Permit Fees.
