SELECTING GEOENGINEERS F'OR ST]PPORTING GEOTECHNICAL
ENGINEERING FOR DESIGN OF THE REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE #80181 COOKE
CAI\-YON ROAD OVER HILINE CANAL AND BRIDGE #88212 F'AUST ROAD OVER
TOWN DITCH AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO NEGOTIATE ANI)
EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY A & E PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR THE SAME, CRp 315-22 AND 316-22.
WHEREAS:Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of
Qualifications Supporting Civil and Structural Design andlor Review Services
for the Replacement of Bridge No. 80181 Cooke Canyon Road at Milepost 0.24
and for the Replacement of Bridge No. 88212 Faust Road at Milepost 0.59.; and
WHEREAS: Submittals were due by October 13,2022; and
WHEREAS: There were five (5) firms that submitted their qualifications for review; and
WHEREAS: Public Works reviewed the submittals and recommends GeoEngineers to be the
selected GeoTechnical Engineering firm; and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby select GeoEngineers for supporting
GeoTechnical Engineering for design of the replacement of Bridge #80181
Cooke Canyon Road over Hiline Canal and Bridge #88212 Faust Road over
Town Ditch, and authorize the County Engineer to negotiate and execute a Local
Agency A & E Professional Services Agreement for the same, CRP 315-22 and
316-22.
