Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 17, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing for December 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm for the Board of <br />County Commissioners to consider the Suncadia Ph 1 Div 14 Preliminary Plat <br />(LP-22-00004). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for Suncadia Resort, LLC, landowner, <br />submitted an application for a 39 detached residential lot (primarily second or <br />vacation homes) plat with associated roadway, open space and service tracts on <br />approximately 43.94 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned Resort. The <br />proposed lots range in size from 6,800 to 22,100 square feet. In conjunction with <br />this preliminary plat application, a site development plan was submitted for <br />Suncadia Phase 1 Division 14. <br /> <br />In conformance with the Seventh Amendment to the Suncadia Development <br />Agreement, Kittitas County Community Development Staff requests that the <br />Board of County Commissioners set a public hearing for December 6, 2022 at <br />2:00 pm to hear public testimony and consider the Suncadia Ph 1 Div 14 <br />Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services and Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve request to set a public hearing for December 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm for <br />BOCC consideration of the Suncadia Phase 1 Division 14 Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ad Text and Web Text <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Kelly Bacon, Staff Planner
