KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 17, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Subrecipient Agreement between Kittitas <br />County and HopeSource for CDBG Public Service Funds, <br />Agreement #2022-2023 CDBG-SR. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The proposed Agreement is between Kittitas County and <br />HopeSource in the amount of $79,500.00 for the <br />Community Development Block Grant – Public Services <br />Funds for the period beginning July 1, 2022, through June <br />30, 2023. This is in relation to Contract #22-62210-008 <br />between the Department of Commerce and Kittitas County, <br />which was approved on November 1, 2022. HopeSource is <br />to provide services to low-and moderate-income persons in <br />Kittitas County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement is being reviewed by the Prosecutors office <br />and the Auditor’s office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize Board signature on an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and HopeSource to provide <br />services as outlined and funded by the Community <br />Development Block Grant program. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Three originals sent to BOCC for signature <br /> One original to BOCC, One original to Hopesource <br /> Please send Dora an executed copy <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Agreement between Kittitas County and HopeSource <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br /> Dora Van Epps, Fiscal Analyst <br /> Susan Grindle, HopeSource Executive Director <br />
