AGENDA DATE: November 17, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Subrecipient Agreement between Kittitas
County and HopeSource for CDBG Public Service Funds,
Agreement #2022-2023 CDBG-SR.
BACKGROUND: The proposed Agreement is between Kittitas County and
HopeSource in the amount of $79,500.00 for the
Community Development Block Grant – Public Services
Funds for the period beginning July 1, 2022, through June
30, 2023. This is in relation to Contract #22-62210-008
between the Department of Commerce and Kittitas County,
which was approved on November 1, 2022. HopeSource is
to provide services to low-and moderate-income persons in
Kittitas County.
INTERACTION: The Agreement is being reviewed by the Prosecutors office
and the Auditor’s office.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize Board signature on an Agreement
between Kittitas County and HopeSource to provide
services as outlined and funded by the Community
Development Block Grant program.
HANDLING: Three originals sent to BOCC for signature
One original to BOCC, One original to Hopesource
