ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the Marine Law Enforcement Patrol
Vessel Replacement Grant awarded to Kittitas County Sheriff's Office by Washington
State Parks and Recreation Commission.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office been awarded a grant in the
amount of $92,169.81 to replace one of its patrol vessels. Kittitas County is required to
expend match funds in the amount of $30,723.27. The project must be completed on or
before October 15, 2024.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved the grant agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge the Marine Law Enforcement Patrol Vessel
Replacement Grant awarded to Kittitas County Sheriff's Office by Washington State
Parks and Recreation Commission.
HANDLING: KCSO will provide a fully executed agreement to the BOCC upon
signature by State Parks.
LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
