2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 1, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to schedule a Public Hearing for December 6,
2022, at 2:00 pm local time to consider adoption of the
2022 ADA Transition Plan
BACKGROUND: Public Works has developed an American with Disabilities
Act (ADA) transition plan of County owned facilities
within the public right-of-way. Facilities include
crosswalks, sidewalks, and sidewalk ramps. Formal
adoption of the plan addressing County right-of-way is
needed to be in compliance with Washington State
Department of Transportation. Coordination for future
expansion of the transition plan to include other County
facilities will be done in the coming months.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for December 6, 2022, at 2:00
PM local time to consider adoption of the 2022 ADA
Transition Plan.
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works.

205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider the Adoption of the 2022
American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan.
