ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider surplus of county
equipment.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office requests to set a public hearing
to declare equipment surplus to the county. Based on RCW 36.34.010 authorizes the
Board of County Commissioners to decide whether county -owned real or personal
property is surplus to the needs of the County and whether disposal would be in the best
interest of the County.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider surplus of county
equipment.
