ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Resolution authorizing approval of Contract
Number 22-62210-008 between the Washington State
Department of Commerce and Kittitas County for the
Community Development Block Grant Program - Public
Services Funding for the period July 1, 2022 through June 30,
2023.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County has been awarded the Community
Development Block Grant Public Service Funds in the
amount of $83,000.00. The Board of County Commissioners
previously held a Public Hearing and approved the Grant
application materials. HopeSource will be providing public
services outlined in the contract materials to low-and
moderate-income persons residing in Kittitas County for the
period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
The Department of Commerce has provided Contract
Number 22-62210-008 for the Board of County
Commissioners consideration.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutor's office, Dora Van Epps, Fiscal Analyst and
Brian Carlson, Budget and Finance Director reviewed and
approved the proposed Contract with the Department of
Commerce.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution approving Contract Number 22-
62210-008 between the Washington State Department of
Commerce and Kittitas County for Community
Development Block Grant - Public Service funds
HANDLING: Please return 1 signed copy of the resolution and
contract to Dora Van Epps
