COUNTY OF KITTITAS
STATE OF WASHINGTON
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-_____
Whereas, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public
agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative
action; and
Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public
agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and
Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter into
the agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the public services through
HopeSource to low- and moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the
period of July 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners
authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of
Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference .
