AGENDA DATE: November 1, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for 2022 Annual Docket Amendments to
Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan and County Code
BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing for November 29, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in
the BOCC Auditorium for consideration of proposed amendments to Kittitas County
Comprehensive Plan and County Code through the annual “Docket” process. The
County accepted citizen amendment requests through June 30, 2022 for consideration
by the Kittitas County Planning Commission and the Kittitas County Board of County
Commissioners. The amendments must be consistent with the Growth Management
Act and other applicable state laws, applicable countywide planning policies, and the
goals, policies, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.
A Planning Commission public hearing is scheduled for November 8, 2022 at 6:00
p.m. to consider the proposed amendments. A staff report containing staff
recommendations and the Planning Commission recommendations, along with the
docket items will be provided prior to the public hearing. All docket items are currently
available for review on the Community Development Services website at:
https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/cds/comp-plan/default.aspx
