Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 1, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for 2022 Annual Docket Amendments to <br />Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan and County Code <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing for November 29, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in <br />the BOCC Auditorium for consideration of proposed amendments to Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan and County Code through the annual “Docket” process. The <br />County accepted citizen amendment requests through June 30, 2022 for consideration <br />by the Kittitas County Planning Commission and the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners. The amendments must be consistent with the Growth Management <br />Act and other applicable state laws, applicable countywide planning policies, and the <br />goals, policies, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> A Planning Commission public hearing is scheduled for November 8, 2022 at 6:00 <br />p.m. to consider the proposed amendments. A staff report containing staff <br />recommendations and the Planning Commission recommendations, along with the <br />docket items will be provided prior to the public hearing.
