ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Contract Amendment i -ACT and EET Program
Development
BACKGROUND: The Department of Children, Youth and Families Juvenile Justice and
Rehabilitation Administration administers juvenile offender programs
funded by the State for Washington State Juvenile Court interventions
resultant from youth being found guilty of offenses. This Amended
County Program Agreement sets the parameters for the contract to be
expanded to include Education and Employment Training consulting
services. It provides reimbursement to our County for staff time to
develop, train, and provide consultation to both i -ACT and EET
trainers providing the service.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the
contract.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Contract Amendment i -ACT and EET Program
Development for the period of September 1, 2022 through June 30,
2023 between Juvenile Court Services and Department of Children,
Youth and Families
HANDLING: Request two signed original documents be returned to JCA to pursue
DCYF signature and subsequent return of an original fully executed
document to the BoCC for County records. I have provided three
originals.
