KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 18, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to schedule a Public Hearing for November 1, <br />2022, at 2:00 pm local time to consider a Road Vacation <br />request for vacating a portion of White Road public right- <br />of-way. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works received a road vacation application to vacate <br />a portion of White Road public rights of way. A public <br />hearing is required by County code considering the merits <br />of the vacation request. At the public hearing, the County <br />Engineer will provide the Board an Engineer's Report <br />addressing the vacation request pursuant to County Code <br />and State law. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for November 1, 2022, at 2:00 <br />PM local time hearing the vacation request vacating a <br />portion of White Road public right-of-way. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Location Map <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
