ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an
Interlocal Agreement Amendment between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and
the Washington State Department of Health. (Effective dates: 03/15/2021 – 12/31/2023)
BACKGROUND:
The COVID-19 Rural Health Equity grant provides funding to address COVID-19 and advance
health equity for Kittitas County. KCPHD will use this funding to convene a community coalition
which will use local data to determine how to advance health equity and reduce Covid-19
related health disparities Kittitas County. The coalition will select local strategies to be
implemented and funded by this grant that has been extended from May 31, 2023 to December
31, 2023.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of an
