KITTITAS COUNTY <br />EC STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCEROOM,205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 -ELLENSBURG <br />Special Meeting <br />FRIDAY 9:00 AM July 15,2022 <br />Board members present:Chair Laura Osiadacz,Vice Chair Cory Wright,Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith <br />Others:Kady Porterfield (KVEC Director),Lacie Dawson (KVEC Program Manager) <br />1.Call to Order 9:01am <br />2.Citizen Comments (1 min.time limit):None <br />3.Self Promoted Events Business <br />*Kittitas County Fair Updates:Everything is going well,and staff are on track with <br />punch list. <br />*Patriot Nights Under the Lights Updates:Event was a success!Approximately <br />600 tickets were sold the day of the event.Total attendance was 1513.Event made <br />approximately $3,000 in profit. <br />4.Special Projects:Catwalk lower deck is rotten,so a contractor is being hired to help with <br />the repairs and it will be completed prior to fair/rodeo. <br />5.Other Business:At 9:05 a.m.Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions,or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,the governing body,or a <br />member acting in an official capacity is,or is likely to become,a party,when public <br />knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency.At 9:15 a.m.the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.No <br />action was taken. <br />Meeting concluded at 9:18 a.m. <br />KITTITASCOUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITASCOUNTY,WASHINGTON <br />Kady Por field Laura Osiadacz,Chairman <br />2022-07-15 MINUTES 1
