ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to approve Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and
Schuknecht's Polygraph Service.
BACKGROUND:
Washington Juvenile Law provides a disposition (sentencing) alternative for qualifying
juvenile sex offenders called SSODA (RCW 13.40.162). The program is implemented
through our CJS Block Grant with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families
(DCYF). This professional services agreement is to provide polygraph examinations for
youth receiving sexual offender treatment under a SSODA in coordination with the
treatment therapist and Juvenile Court Services.
Services provided under this contract are funded through the CJS Block Grant.
INTERACTION:
The Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved as to form the contract (Prosecutor
Review Number #54726).
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Schuknecht's
Polygraph Service.
HANDLING:
Request 1 copy with signatures returned to Katrina Mankus. The original to be filed with
the BoCC.

Attached is one original of the professional services agreement and one copy.
