BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br /> <br />NO: 2022 ___________ <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Chair Signature on an Amendment of the Kittitas County <br />Community Wildfire Protection Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners adopted a Community <br />Wildfire Protection Plan in October 2018; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The adopted plan was developed with community outreach and co- <br />adopted by various fire chiefs in the county; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Fire Chiefs desire amending the adopted plan including <br />appendices identifying specific areas in the county for various fuel <br />reduction activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Fire Chiefs believe adding appendices to the adopted plan <br />strengthens successful grant applications now and in the future. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due consideration, does hereby amend the 2018 Community Wildfire Protection Plan <br />adding appendices identifying specific locations for fuel reduction activities. <br /> <br />DATED this 4th day of October 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Attest: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ______________________________ <br />Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz
