COMMISSIONERS’ MINUTES <br />HR STUDY SESSION <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 9/27/2022 <br /> <br />Board members present: Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others: Christopher Horner, Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT (ONE MINUTE) <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – HR REPRESENTATIVE RECRUITMENT <br />HR Director Killgore explained to the Board that a qualified HR Representative candidate was identified, <br />and the position was offered to them. The candidate countered the offered wage with a starting salary <br />5.5% above the minimum wage. This wage nearly matches the salary of the current HR Representative <br />who has been with the County for over four years. Director Killgore requested a special wage adjustment <br />for the current HR Representative to recognize additional tasks that she has taken on over the years, and <br />to put her in line with other employees of a similar tenure.
