CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM.
PUBLIC COMMENT (ONE MINUTE)
None.
DISCUSSION/DECISION – HR REPRESENTATIVE RECRUITMENT
HR Director Killgore explained to the Board that a qualified HR Representative candidate was identified,
and the position was offered to them. The candidate countered the offered wage with a starting salary
5.5% above the minimum wage. This wage nearly matches the salary of the current HR Representative
who has been with the County for over four years. Director Killgore requested a special wage adjustment
for the current HR Representative to recognize additional tasks that she has taken on over the years, and
to put her in line with other employees of a similar tenure. The Board approved the special wage
adjustment.
