AGENDA DATE: September 20, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval to advertise the request for qualifications for
on Architectural and Engineering services for the new lower county
transfer station.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Solid Waste is requesting Boards approval to
advertise for Architectural and Engineering services for the new lower
county transfer station. The solid waste department has been working
toward this project since 2016 and is ready to take the next step
toward finding a design team to start the design of the facility.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the request for qualifications.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Board approval to advertise.
