2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: September 20, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing on October 4, 2022, at 2:00
pm local time, to consider the adoption of the Annual
Construction Program for 2023 and the Six Year
Transportation Improvement Program for 2023-2028
BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared an Annual Construction
Program for 2023 and the Six Year Transportation
Improvement Program for 2023-2028.
Each year Public Works solicits public comment on the
annual and six-year plan. Public Works conducted two
open house meetings one on September 12, 2022, in Upper
County and one on September 13, 2022, in Lower County.
In addition to the open house format, the annual and six-
year plan is posted on the Public Works webpage along
with a comment form.
Any revisions to the annual or Six Year Transportation
Improvement Plan based on public comment will be
presented at the hearing.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on October 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. to
consider adopting the Annual Construction Program for
2023 and the Six Year Transportation program for 2023-
2028.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on October 4, 2022 at the Commissioners' Auditorium,
205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider the adoption of the Annual
Construction Program for 2023 and the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2023-2028.
