The Kittitas County Fire Marshal's office shall require mounted, non-obstructed fire extinguishers at the axe throwing station and the BBQ shack. The extinguishers shall be the A-B-C Type and 5lb size or larger. lf there are any cooking operations on the property that utilize a deep fat fryer or similar cooking equipment, then an extinguisher in that location shall be located not more than L0'from the cooking operation and be of the Class KType and have a minimum capacity of 1.5 Gallons. All fire extinguishers shall be mounted between 3'-5' from the floor/ground. The Fire Marshal's Office shall also require that the parking area (if grass) be mowed to lower than 6". The Fire Marshal's Office shall also require clearly marked entrances/exits for vehicles and pedestrians, where applicable. Lastly, the Fire Marshal's Office will perform a Fire and Life Safety lnspection 24-48 hours prior to the event to ensure all requirements are met and the applicant has time to remedy any issues previous to the first day of the event. The operator will only be required to maintain the stipulations in the obtained Special Event Permit each week thereafter.
