BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2022-_______ <br />RESOLUTION TO DECLARE PARCEL 961884 AS SURPLUS TO COUNTY NEEDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have by Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />purchased property for the new transfer station location; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property was short plated to make two lots with one lot to be the future <br />location of the Ellensburg Transfer Station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the second lot parcel 961884 a 10.87 acre lot in not needed for the <br />upcoming project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners agrees with the recommendation of <br />the Solid Waste Director to declared this parcel as surplus to county needs; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners set a minimum price for the property <br />at $1,074,000. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes orders, and directs the Kittitas County <br />Treasurer to hold a public auction to sell Kittitas County Parcel #961884, as allowed by RCW <br />42.30.110(c). The Kittitas County Treasurer is authorized to take whatever actions are needed to <br />facilitate this sale. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer is hereby authorized to advertise <br />Notice of Sale by Public Auction to be held on September 20, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Conference <br />room. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2022. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chairman <br />
