Authorizing Issuing a Statement of Qualifications for Engineering and Planning
Services Supporting Bowers Field (ELN) for a Five-Year Period2023 -2027
WHEREAS: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorizes general aviation
airports the ability to solicit and hire engineering and planning services
pursuant to a duly advertised solicitation process; and
WHEREAS: The current engineering and planning services on-call task order contract
with Century West Engineering is terminating fall of 2022; and
WHEREAS: Public Works has prepared a statement of qualifications meeting FAA
solicitation requirements; and
WHEREAS: The Airport Department desires securing engineering and planning
services for a five-year period (2023 - 2027); and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after
due consideration, does hereby authorize issuing a statement of qualifications for
engineering and planning services supporting ELN for a five-year period 2023 -2027.
