BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />*o W'lhr7 <br />Authorizing Issuing a Statement of Qualifications for Engineering and Planning <br />Services Supporting Bowers Field (ELN) for a Five-Year Period2023 -2027 <br />WHEREAS: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorizes general aviation <br />airports the ability to solicit and hire engineering and planning services <br />pursuant to a duly advertised solicitation process; and <br />WHEREAS: The current engineering and planning services on-call task order contract <br />with Century West Engineering is terminating fall of 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has prepared a statement of qualifications meeting FAA <br />solicitation requirements; and <br />WHEREAS: The Airport Department desires securing engineering and planning <br />services for a five-year period (2023 - 2027); and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after <br />due consideration, does hereby authorize issuing a statement of qualifications for <br />engineering and planning services supporting ELN for a five-year period 2023 -2027. <br />DATED this 16th day of August2l22,at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AS GTON <br />tr Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
