INVITATION TO BID
KITTTTAS COUNTY - VANTAGE HIGHWAY OVER CASCADE CANAL BRIDGE (89342) REPLACEMENT
PROJECT
KITTITAS COUNTY ELLENSBURG, WASHINGTON
Sealed bids will be received by I(ttitas County Public Works, at the reception desk located at 411 North Ruby Street, Suite
1, Ellensburg, Washington until 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 8,2022, and will then and there be opened and
publicly read fbr the construction of the Vantage Highway Over Cascade Canal Bridge (89342) Replacement Project.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in
an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of suoh bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such
contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid
proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Kittitas County Public Works.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

Works,411 North Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, WA 98926.
The Kittitas County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4)
and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to
this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an
award.
This project has a DBE Goal of l2%o.
The improvement for which bids will be received is described below:
The work to be perfbrmed within 105 (one hundred five) wor*ing days from the date of Notice to Proceed consists of
furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for:
The improvement of Vantage Highway over Cascade Canal Bridge, including the replacement of the existing bridge,
guardrail, approaches, shoulders, the realignment of Cascade Canal, the installation and removal of the bypass road,
additional site grading and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the
Standard Specifications.
Engineer's estimated range for the project is $1.5 - $2.0 Million.
