JULY 19, 2022 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner <br />Brett Wachsmith. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Codi Fortier, Administrative Assistant; <br />Emily Smith, Administrative Assistant; Neil Caulkins, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; Josh Fredrickson, Engineer; and 2 members of the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING DEPT. NATURAL RESOURCES LEASE AIRPORT <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from June 21, 2022, to consider the Department of Natural Resources <br />updated Lease. It was noted the record was open. <br /> <br />CODI FORTIER, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />said they had not received the Lease documents back from the <br />Department of Natural Resources and requested the Public Hearing be <br />continued until Tuesday August 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH moved to continue the Public Hearing to <br />Tuesday August 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners <br />Auditorium, noting the record is to remain open. VICE-CHAIRMAN <br />WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING HOLIDAY AVENUE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:01 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from June 21, 2022, to consider the proposed Vacation of a portion <br />of Holiday Avenue in Vantage, WA. He noted the record was open. <br /> <br />MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report. He said <br />the issues that had been previously raised, have all been resolved. <br />He explained how the adjoining property of the proposed vacation <br />involved three parcels, each under separate ownership, including <br />Stockdale, Inc. and Kittitas County Water District #6. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2022-143 HOLIDAY AVENUE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2022-143, <br />Vacating Holiday Avenue from the Intersection of Boat Ramp Road to
