AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 2, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of a
License Between the Department of the Army, Yakima Training Center Military
Installation, and between Yakima County and Kittitas County.
BACKGROUND: The Secretary of the Army or duly authorized representative of the
Secretary hereby grants Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office a non-exclusive license for use
of lands at the Yakima Training Center Military Reservation for law enforcement training
as described in the license document. Our most recent license for these activities expired
06/30/22. There is no cost.
INTERACTION: This agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County
Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of a
License Between the Department of the Army, Yakima Training Center Military
Installation, and between Yakima County and Kittitas County.
HANDLING: Please return 1 fully executed copy to KCSO.
