KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 2, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to establish <br />County Road Project (CRP) number supporting the <br />replacement of Bridge 488212 Faust Road over <br />Town Ditch. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works has been awarded <br />2022 Local Bridge Program federal funds in the <br />amount of $2,531,800.00. These funds will be used <br />to replace the existing single span, structurally <br />deficient, load posted concrete bridge on Faust <br />Road over Town Ditch. The work will include <br />replacing the existing bridge with single span, <br />prestressed concrete girder structure to meet current <br />design standards and to improve the hydraulic <br />opening. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to establish County Road <br />Project (CRP) number supporting the replacement <br />of Bridge #88212 Faust Road over Town Ditch. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
