KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 2, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a resolution adopting Kittitas County <br />Public Works Monthly Equipment Rental Rates pursuant to <br />Revised Code of Washington 36.33A.040 for 2023. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works is required to maintain an <br />equipment rental and replacement fund pursuant to RC W <br />36.33A.10. Within this fund equipment is rented to other <br />funds most specifically the road fund. It is required <br />pursuant to RCW 36.33A.40 that the rates are reviewed and <br />adopted annually. Rates for 2023 have been updated. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution adopting the 2023 Equipment <br />Rental Rates for Public Works. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; 2022 Equipment Rental Rates <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
