CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Regular Meeting
MONDAY 1:30 PM July 11, 2022
Board members present: Vice -Chairman Cory Wright, and
Commissioner Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Jeremy Larson, Jeremy Johnston, and Jessica Miller
Community Development Services; Arden Thomas, Josh Fredrickson,
Mark Cook and Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; and one (1) member of
the public.
At 1:30 pm Vice -Chairman Wright opened the Community Development
Services Study Session.
CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MIN. TIME LIMIT)
There were no citizen comments.
BUILDING PLANS PRE -APPROVAL POLICY UPDATE
CDS Building Official Jeremy Larson presented an update on the
Pre -Approval plans policy. The pre -approval building plan should
be ready to go next week, just updated our webpage with the
links to the policy and the list of vendors. Commissioner Wright
requested a press release happen to notify customers.
DISCUSSION/DECISION: FINALIZE ANNUAL DOCKET LIST
CDS Planning Official Jeremy Johnston provided the Annual Docket
list for discussion and decision. Planning Official Johnston
stated this is an opportunity to review and potential issues
within our code as well as give citizens an opportunity to
submit for changes for development regulations or our
comprehensive plan. List of 26 items for this cycle, of which 6
are citizen items, was provided to the Board. The Commissioners
had no issues with the list and approved moving forward.
