BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI.]NTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. Ao AA' l'l 0 <br />RATIFYING THE CHAIR OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SIGNATIIRE ON THE <br />WATER RIGHTS PURCHASE AI\D SALE AGREEMENT WITH SOLAR DOLLAR <br />LLC <br />WHEREAS:Kittitas County maintains a water banking program accepted by the <br />Washington State Department of Ecology (WDOE) as administered by <br />the Public Works Department; and <br />WHEREAS WDOE currently has water right acquisition grant funding available for <br />approved water banking programs; and <br />WHEREAS:Solar Dollar LLC is willing to sale existing water rights to Kittitas <br />County that appears to be consistent with county acquisitions conditions; <br />and <br />WHERfAS:Time, being of the essence, Public Works has secured the Board of County <br />Commission Chair's signature on a water rights purchase and sale agreement <br />with Solar Dollar LLC; and <br />WHEREAS:Ratification of the water rights purchase and sale agreement with Solar <br />Dollar LLC now requires action by the full Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby ratiff the Chair's signature on the water rights purchase and sale <br />agreement with Solar Dollar LLC. <br />DATED this 5th day of July 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman <br />1 L <br />ith, Commissioner
