BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZB EXECUTION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN GUARDIAI\ RFID AND KITTITAS COUNTY <br />RESOLUTIoNNo. 2022 - l?+ <br />WHEREAS: Among other things, Guardian RFID provides a system comprised of software, <br />hardware, support services, and a web-based software as a service platform to deliver <br />a wide range of inmate management, monitoring, and tracking solutions; and <br />WHEREAS: Among other things Kittitas County operates a correctional facility located at 205 W <br />5th Ave. Suite I Ellensburg, WA 98926 and in doing so must maintain control over <br />inmates and property; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to implement the Guardian RFID System by licensing the <br />software, purchasing the hardware and support services, and obtaining rights to use <br />the web-based software as a service platform. Guardian RFID is willing to provide <br />computer hardware and software for inmate management, monitoring, and tracking <br />solutions for Kittitas County exclusively at the facility; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED in consideration of the mutualpromises and <br />covenants contained herein together with other good and valuable consideration, the receipt <br />and legal sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Parties incorporate the Recitals <br />herein and that the Agreement between Guardian RFID and the Kittitas County Jail shall <br />commence on July 5,2022 and continue to until terminated. <br />ADOPTED ,hi" #'''t day of 1u1y,2022. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />loner <br />AS <br />.rdClerko Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />T <br />D.
