AWARDING THE INTERSTATE 90 WIDENING FEASIBILITY STUDY (EASTON TO
CLE ELUM) TO SCJ ALLIANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF'PUBLIC
WORIG TO NEGOTIATE STTIDY SCOPE OF'WORI( AND FEE
WHEREAS: Pursuant to Board of County Commission direction, Public Works did
solicit for consultant services on May sth,l2th' and 19th of 2022; and
WHEREAS: SCJ Alliance submitted a proposal for Public Works review on June 10th,
2022; and
WHEREAS: An internal review team in Public Works did review the submitted
proposal and is recommending project award to SCJ Alliance; and
WHEREAS: A project scope of work and fee proposal now requires negotiation on
behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREF'ORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due
consideration, does hereby award the Interstate 90 Widening Feasibility Study (Easton to Cle
Elum) to SCJ Alliance.
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does authorize
the Director of Public Works to negotiate a study scope of work and fee proposal on behalf of the
board.
