KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -______ <br /> <br />Resolution Amending Kittitas County’s Travel Policy <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of county Commissioners updated the County’s travel policy on <br />January 4th, 2022 via Resolution 2022-002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the travel policy establishes mileage reimbursement rates which reflect <br />approved rates set by the Internal Revenue Service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the IRS has increased the mileage reimbursement rate effective July 1, 2022, <br />from $.585 to $.625 per mile; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, changes to travel policy must be formally approved by the BOCC via <br />resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the standard mileage reimbursement rate <br />is increased to $.625 per mile, effective July 1, 2022. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED this 5th, day of July 2022. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Chairman <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Vice-Chairman <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board/Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
