RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -______
Resolution Amending Kittitas County’s Travel Policy
WHEREAS, the Board of county Commissioners updated the County’s travel policy on
January 4th, 2022 via Resolution 2022-002; and
WHEREAS, the travel policy establishes mileage reimbursement rates which reflect
approved rates set by the Internal Revenue Service; and
WHEREAS, the IRS has increased the mileage reimbursement rate effective July 1, 2022,
from $.585 to $.625 per mile; and
WHEREAS, changes to travel policy must be formally approved by the BOCC via
resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the standard mileage reimbursement rate
is increased to $.625 per mile, effective July 1, 2022.
APPROVED this 5th, day of July 2022.
