RE:Certification of the County's Capital Assets
Kittitas County's fixed asset policy indicates that the Board of County Commissioners
has delegated the County Auditor the responsibility for maintaining,updating and reporting
the annual asset inventory.The County Auditor maintains this information to complete the
County's financial statements.
R.C.W.36.32.210 states the Board of County Commissioners,shall file with the county
auditor a statementcertifying the complete inventory of capital assets showing for the twelve
months period ending December 316*of the preceding year.
The attachments include a 2021 capitalized asset graph by type shown at cost value
as of December 31,2021 and a Capitalized Assets as of December 31,2021 with
Comparison of December 31,2020
The total assets of $288,228,271 ($164,518,102 depreciation)are shown on the
attached reports and all amounts are verified in the Cayenta Asset ManagementSystem as
of the above date.A detailed listing is on file with the County Auditor.
The information provided will allow the Board of County Commissioners to certify the
2021 inventory of County Capital Assets and file with the county auditor as a public record.
