KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: July 5, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing for July 19, 2022, at 2:00 <br />pm local time to consider a Road Vacation request for <br />vacating a portion of Boondoggle Road public right-of- <br />way. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works received a road vacation application to vacate <br />a portion of Boondoggle Road public rights of way. A <br />public hearing is required by County code considering the <br />merits of the vacation request. At the public hearing, the <br />County Engineer will provide the Board an Engineer's <br />Report addressing the vacation request pursuant to County <br />Code and State law. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for July 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM <br />local time hearing the vacation request vacating a portion <br />of Boondoggle Road public right-of-way. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Location Map <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
