AGENDA DATE: June 21, 2022
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Ellensburg Family Medicine (Modification of this existing
agreement)
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Modification is to allow for a nurse to be hired
to help with coverage at the jail due to the increase of services and increase the total
amount paid to the Contractor. Hiring a nurse to help with coverage at the jail will allow
the Contractor to provide additional services for the jail. The total cost to the Contractor
will increase from no greater than $100,000 annually to no greater than $235,000
annually, reflecting an estimated cost of the additional personnel and services of
$135,000. This will be paid from the same fund.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Ellensburg Family Medicine (Modification of this existing
agreement).
HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. Sheriff’s Office to provide a
fully executed Agreement back to the BOCC upon signature by Ellensburg Family
Medicine.
