KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Juvenile Court Services <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 7, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Contract Amendment Consolidated Contract with <br />Department of Children, Youth, and Families <br />BACKGROUND: As mandated by the Washington State Legislature, the purpose of the <br />Consolidated Contract is to provide funding to County Juvenile <br />Courts throughout Washington State to support Block Grant programs <br />for juvenile offenders. The programs include, but are not limited to: <br />• Consolidate Juvenile Services At -Risk (CJS) <br />• Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) <br />• Chemical Dependency and Mental Health Disposition <br />Alternative (CDMHDA) <br />• Suspended Disposition Alternative (SDA) <br />• Community Juvenile Accountability Act (CJAA)/Evidenced <br />Based Programs (EBP), and <br />• Promising Programs <br />The purpose of this contract amendment is to increase Contract <br />consideration by $2,000.00 to allow for purchasing and providing <br />concrete goods to families for the purpose of supporting low-income <br />families. <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the <br />contract (Prosecutor Review Number 54229). <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Contract Amendment Consolidated Contract with the <br />Department of Children, Youth, and Families for SFY 2023 <br />HANDLING: Request 2 signed original documents be returned to Juvenile Court <br />Services to pursue DCYF signature and subsequent return of an <br />original fully executed document to the BoCC for County records (I <br />have created 3 originals — if you would please return 2 and keep 1). <br />ATTACHMENTS: Contract Amendment Consolidated Contract SFY 2023, DCYF <br />Agreement Number 2163-22205 Amendment No. 01 <br />LEAD STAFF: Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator <br />
