<br />1 <br />TARA DUNFORD, CPA PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES <br />OVERVIEW <br />I am pleased to submit this proposal for services to support Kittitas County with financial statement preparation and <br />other general accounting needs. I am confident that my technical skills and prior experience will be of value. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />• Prepare 2021 financial statements <br />• Update financial statement preparation worksheets and processes <br />• Assist with reconciliation of cash balances <br />• Perform other technical accounting tasks as requested <br />PRICING <br />All services are billed at a rate of $165/hour for actual hours worked. The total scope of work as identified above <br />shall not exceed 450 hours or $74,250 for 2022. Approximate estimates are as follows: <br />• Preparation of 2021 financial statements – 150 hours <br />• Updating financial statement worksheets and processes – 100 hours <br />• Cash reconciliations and related processes – 100 hours <br />• Other requested accounting tasks, to be determined – 100 hours <br />Actual hours worked and billed may be less. <br />The hours listed are estimates. Estimates are subject to change if project specifications are changed or if <br />unanticipated challenges arise. <br />There shall be an additional flat-rate charge of $200 per day when on-site work is required. There shall be no <br />additional charges for travel, mileage, or other incidentals. <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />I have been self-employed as an independent CPA specializing in local government accounting and financial <br />reporting since 2017. My prior employment experience includes: <br />• Auditor – Washington State Auditor’s Office <br />• Senior Accountant and Internal Auditor – Pierce County <br />• Controller/Interim CFO – Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma <br />• Interim Finance Director – City of Milton <br />• Interim Finance Director – City of Mill Creek <br />I have audited and prepared financial statements of all sizes and levels of complexity. I have a high level of <br />knowledge of GAAP/GASB/BARS requirements and have active contracts with 30 local governments in Washington <br />State. Current clients of similar size, type and/or complexity include Pierce County, Adams County, City of <br />Lynnwood, City of Marysville, City of Mountlake Terrace and Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma.
